Andrea Weiss is superstitious.

If her child’s team is struggling, she blames it on where she’s sitting and moves to another spot in the stands.

Let’s just say that the first half of 11th-seeded Columbia’s First Four game Thursday night had Weiss playing musical chairs.

The second half, though, allowed her to settle into a spot near her husband, Jeff, as they watched their daughter, Columbia sophomore Riley Weiss, put on a show.
