Texas guard Rori Harmon tries not to think about the injury that sidelined her for most of last season.
But the scar on her right knee serves as a constant reminder of the adversity she endured over the past year to be at this point.
Harmon isn’t chasing the player she was before she tore her ACL last season. Her goal is “to be better than who I was before” it happened.
With Harmon back and sophomore star Madison Booker returning to her rightful spot on the wing, No. 7 Texas (19-2, 5-1 SEC) has been one of the most dominant teams in the country and is projected to be a possible No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
