There have been some strong and not-so-strong individual performances tucked into the Giants’ performance as a team through the first four games.

If a chart was compiled, separating players into three groups — those who have overachieved, those who have underachieved and those who have done almost exactly what was expected of them, the lists would not all be the same length.

Are there players rising to the occasion? Sure, a few, but not enough.

Are there players doing no more than what is asked of them? Yes, probably too many.
