It was a roller coaster of a trip to Las Vegas for St. John’s in the Players Era Festival.

The 14th-ranked Johnnies played their best game of the young season (a commanding win over Baylor), their worst game (blowing an 11-point second-half lead to No. 21 Auburn) and suffered a heartbreaking defeat in the final seconds to No. 15 Iowa State.

St. John’s now has nine days off before returning to the Garden to face Ole Miss — and plenty to think about.
