Konnor Griffin, universally considered the best prospect in baseball, made his big league debut for the Pirates’ home opener Friday against the Orioles. At 19, he is the first position player to debut as a teen since Juan Soto in 2018.  (He quickly made an impact, going 1-for-3 with an RBI double and a walk while batting seventh. He also struck out.)
