Should.
This might be the most ominous word currently being attached to the Giants as they enter the second half of what has been a shockingly first-rate season.
They are 6-2, and history says they are in great shape to make it into the playoffs — for the first time since 2016. Playoffstatus.com lists the Giants’ postseason chances at 88 percent. A New York Times model has the Giants at 82 percent. Translation: The Giants should make the playoffs.
With back-to-back home games against the Texans (1-6-1) and the Lions (2-6) coming out of their bye week, the Giants should be 8-2 by the time they head to Dallas for a Thanksgiving afternoon clash with the Cowboys.
