GLENDALE, Ariz. — Woody Johnson’s dream team has been put to sleep.
Johnson’s Jets, stocked with a roster full of stars with Pro Bowl accolades, All-Pro honors, gaudy personal stats and even future Hall of Fame status, have officially become a nightmare.
The Jets’ disgusting 31-6 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday at State Farm Stadium has effectively ended all suspended reality about a run at a first playoff berth in 14 years.
The Jets are 3-7 now and would likely need to run the table in their final seven games to even have a sniff at a playoff berth.
