HOUSTON — Everybody is screaming — pundits, fans, broadcasters: Give KAT the ball. He’s got a smaller defender on him. Post him up. Feed KAT.

The Knicks obliged in brief stretches of the second and fourth quarters Sunday, and it looked great.

But the emphasis is on brief.

As usual, the Karl-Anthony Towns post-up wasn’t a sustained, effective attack for the Knicks in their 111-100 loss to the Thunder. They don’t have much consistency offensively outside of Jalen Brunson doing Jalen Brunson things.
