When the Giants owner said “the No. 1 issue for us going into this offseason is to find our quarterback of the future,” was he just mastering misdirection?

Certainly not.

But, in hindsight, Mara’s words that should have resonated equally were, “I’m tired of watching teams go up and down the field on us.”
