Well, we are at quite a place in this baseball summer, aren’t we? Yankees fans are disgusted with the Yankees. Mets fans are fed up with the Mets. 

I swear this is true: Wednesday afternoon, in the parking lot at Citi Field, a fan walked through Parking Lot G wearing an old No. 2 Yankees jersey. A few kids waiting outside the Hodges entrance spotted him. 

“Yankees suck!” they yelled. 

“You’re right,” the Jeter jersey replied. “We do.”
