LAS VEGAS — There was hope back in August that the Jets might be playing here this week.
Aaron Rodgers had brought optimism to Florham Park, and some people were predicting a trip to the Super Bowl.
That hope ended four plays into the season when Rodgers tore his left Achilles tendon.
Now there seems to be more pessimism about the Jets entering 2024. But the two teams that made it here — the Chiefs and the 49ers — can provide some hope to the Jets.
