Trevor Lawrence expanded his resume this offseason.
The second-year Jaguars quarterback recently assisted his wife Marissa, an event planner, in crafting the dreamy engagement setting for Jacksonville wide receiver Christian Kirk, who popped the question to his girlfriend Ozzy Ozkan recently.
“I love my job and getting to make dreams come true with @lovegigievents,” Marissa wrote Wednesday on her Instagram Story that featured a photo of Lawrence, 22, helping her light candles.

Marissa, who wed Lawrence in April 2021, elaborated on their roles in the friends’ special evening in a separate post.
“No but really me and Trevor were hiding in the dark for an hour. It was honestly so fun we had a little flashlight on and we were making animals on the wall with the shadows and were just laughing at the silliness of sitting in the dark watching Insta videos without sound and just having so much joy for these two,” she continued.

“I always knew it was you.. forever,” Kirk gushed on Instagram.
In photos taken by Stefanie Keeler Photography, the 25-year-old athlete is seen getting down on one knee in a room filled with candles as he presents Ozkan with a ring. Ozkan later shared in her own post, “I wish I could live this moment over and over again.”

This year, Jacksonville will be under new head coach Doug Pederson, who joined the team in February.
Prior to Pederson’s arrival, the team had been looking for a permanent replacement after the December firing of Urban Meyer, who was ousted amid a laundry list of on-and-off-field controversies.
The Jaguars finished the 2021 season at 3-14.
