Following what was a shocking blowout victory for the Huskies over South Carolina, 82-59, to win their first national title since 2016, it’s clear the program is primed to keep things going.

The Huskies don’t need to search for a new star during the offseason from the transfer portal. And that’s because they have their next in standout freshman Sarah Strong, who came alive on the big stage on Sunday in Tampa.

The forward recorded a double-double with 24 points and 15 rebounds across 37 minutes. She also grabbed two steals and tallied three blocks and five assists.
