SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Knicks president Isiah Thomas flew home from Dallas yesterday, perhaps avoiding a trip here, where he is arch-enemy No. 1.

In South Dakota’s biggest city, Isiah is blamed for throwing the Continental Basketball Association into bankruptcy in February, 2001 when he was its owner. Greg Heineman, owner of the Sioux Falls Skyforce, eventually resuscitated a new downsized CBA, but Isiah still has not been forgiven.

Ironically, Heineman’s Skyforce hosted last night’s Knicks-Wolves exhibition at Sioux Falls Arena and sat next to the Knick bench.

“Isiah wouldn’t come here,” Heineman told The Post. “Last time he came here, he had a bodyguard. We survived Isiah.”
