MINNEAPOLIS–Though the Giants are out of the playoffs, their final game of the 2009 season will be memorable for at least one couple. Kipp Kanne and Sheri Cornelius, both of Carroll, Iowa, were married at 9:30 Sunday morning in a private room at the Metrodome.

Kanne is a Giants fans, while his bride is a Vikings fan. Kanne proposed during the Giants-Vikings game here last year. For their wedding attire, the groom and his groomsmen wore Giants jerseys, while Cornelius and her bridesmaids wore Vikings jerseys. The minister wore a referee’s shirt. Of course, their first official act as a married couple was to watch the game.
