Times are tough for the Nets. They came into the week on a seven-game losing skid, their worst of 2024-25 and the longest in the entire NBA.

And they’ll lug that malaise into a tough stretch that started Monday against the Luka Dončić-led Lakers, and includes the league-leading Cavaliers and a couple of looming dates against the reigning champion Celtics.

In short, it’s not pretty. But with nearly a quarter of the season left, there is plenty to see between now and the all-important lottery in May. Fans still have plenty of questions that need to be answered. Let’s get to a few of the more pressing questions the franchise needs to answer:
