The new regime of Aaron Glenn and Darren Mougey went out and got their quarterback in free agency.

They signed Justin Fields to a two-year, $40 million deal last month with $30 million guaranteed, indicating he will be the starter in 2025.

While I think that means the Jets won’t be taking a quarterback in the first round, I could see them using a Day 2 pick on a quarterback who could sit and watch this year and then possibly start in 2026 if the Fields experiment does not work.

Alabama’s Jalen Milroe and Louisville’s Tyler Shough are possible Day 2 targets.
