In his first year with the Giants, Burns battled through an array of physical issues but played in all 17 games and finished with 8.5 sacks.

He is signed through the 2028 season on a massive five-year deal worth $141 million.

Thibodeaux last season missed five games with a broken wrist to squash any chance for a contract extension.
