Brian Daboll wants to create as much conflict as possible.

Not in his relationship with the players or the front office or ownership and not even with the media.

The first-year Giants head coach is trying to inject confusion and uncertainty into the minds of defenders who take the field against his team. For Daboll, it is all about: now you see us here, now you see us in different and unexpected spots.

Already during a training camp team period this summer, we have seen quarterback Daniel Jones split outside and rookie wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson lined up at quarterback as the offense readies for a play. Before the snap, Jones and Robinson traded places, forcing the defense to honor the movement with movement of its own.
