CHICAGO — Napheesa Collier knew what she needed to do Thursday night to capture history.

The Lynx star calculated how many 3s she needed to achieve a milestone only one other player has.

And Collier went out and did it. She went 3-for-4 from 3-point range in a win against the Valkyries, and punctuated her impressive MVP campaign by joining the elusive 50/40/90 club.

Only one other player has finished a WNBA season shooting at least 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from 3 and 90 percent from the free-throw line. That was Mystics star Elena Delle Donne in 2019, the same year she was named MVP for the second time in her career.
