Members of the Women’s National Basketball Players Association are gearing up for a pivotal collective bargaining agreement meeting with WNBA officials Thursday and are determined to have their voice heard.
It’s no secret that players have been disappointed with how little progress has been made on a new deal, despite opting out of the current CBA last October.
The current deal expires at the end of this season and The Post reported Tuesday that players are “bracing” for a work stoppage given the insignificant headway that has been made up to this point.
There’s hope, though, that Thursday’s meeting could rectify some of that.
