Luke Weaver escaped George Springer’s country, but back stateside his growing problems remained.

The Yankees’ best reliever before he landed on the injured list last month — not to mention most of last season — Weaver has returned with a long-ball issue that is not going away.

For the third straight game, Weaver got tagged for a home run, this one a two-run shot by Jeff McNeil in the seventh inning that lifted the Mets to a 6-5 win at Citi Field and sent the Yankees to their fifth straight loss.

“I said I’ve been feeling good. That just might be a lie now, I don’t know,” Weaver said. “It’s hard to make sense of what’s going on.”
