Juan Soto just had his worst week as a Yankee.

He went 0-for-12 in his return to Washington and followed that with a low-impact 4-for-14 over the weekend against the Cardinals, which included a 1-for-6 showing with men on base and a defensive nightmare on Sunday.

Still, the body of work puts him in the top five for AL MVP and sets himself up for a free-agent payday with a likely floor of $500 million.

Even if this is all the Yankees are getting from Soto, they would not reverse their trade. Soto has been great, and the Yankees are playing an all-in season.
