Several Yankees were expected to attend a benefit for the Victor Saracini Children’s Fund last night at a Lower East Side club called bob. Captain Victor Saracini was the pilot on United Airlines Flight 175 that crashed into the south tower of the World Trade center on Sept. 11. He is survived by his wife, Ellen, and daughters Brielle (10) and Kirsten (13). The fund is endorsed by United.

Slated to be on hand last night were Derek Jeter, Roger Clemens, Tino Martinez, Chuck Knoblauch, Clay Bellinger and Todd Greene.

The Saracini family was a guest of the Yankees Wednesday night.
