Jets fans had plenty to celebrate Sunday following the team’s statement win over the Packers, and some took to a certain influencer’s Instagram page to celebrate.
On Sunday, the same day the Jets recorded their fourth win of the season, Zach Wilson’s rumored gal pal, Nicolette Dellanno, posted “a lovely fall” recap on Instagram, which was warmly received by Gang Green’s biggest supporters.
“Zach got that dubbb,” one user commented while another remarked, “Great day and jets win.”
Although the Jets defeated the Packers in stunning fashion, Sunday’s game was special for Wilson as the second-year Jets quarterback faced off against his childhood idol, Aaron Rodgers.
Prior to kickoff, Wilson’s father, Mike, expressed just how much the matchup meant to him and his family.
“Dreams do come true! I can’t tell you how many times @ZachWilson and I have watched Rogers [sic] on tv or studied his every movement on YouTube,” Mike wrote Sunday on Twitter.
“Today he gets a chance to play against him. Parents if your child has a dream, embrace it. Sometimes dreams do come true.”
Wilson completed 10 of 18 attempts for 110 yards in the 27-10 win. He and the Jets will visit the Broncos in Denver next Sunday.
