Lisa Wilson, the mother of Jets quarterback Zach Wilson, appeared to give her stamp of approval to her son’s girlfriend, Nicolette Dellanno — while seemingly taking a subtle dig at his ex, Abbey Gile.

Dellanno, who has been linked to the Jets QB since the summer of 2022, joined the Wilson family in Nashville over the extended Fourth of July weekend.

In an Instagram story posted by Lisa Wilson, she praised the way Dellanno had meshed with her family and how good she seemed with her son. 

“He found a good one this time,” Lisa Wilson captioned the photo, along with a heart emoji. “So good to my boy and my entire family. Love you @nicolette_dellanno.” 

It wasn’t the first time that Dellanno had appeared on Wilson’s mom’s Instagram story.

During Memorial Day weekend, Lisa Wilson posted a picture of Wilson and Dellanno cozied up against one another while they were out on a boat. 

The most recent post, though, appeared to solidify Lisa Wilson’s approval of her son’s bae, who first made an appearance with Wilson at a Yankees game on June 15, 2022. 

It also seemed as though the signal-caller’s mom was getting a shot in at ex-girlfriend Gile, who sent the internet and headline writers into a tizzy when she accused the former first-round pick of sleeping with his mom’s best friend in a comment on Instagram. 

The Jets quarterback played off the incident by joking in an Instagram post at the time, “Took the boys to @gozzerranchclub in Idaho before camp! Poor cell service…what I miss?”

Wilson and Gile had been high school sweethearts, and she had been with him when he was drafted second overall by New York in 2021, but the two had scrubbed one another from their social media accounts by January 2022. 

Gile was later connected to Wilson’s former BYU teammate, and best friend, Dax Milne, which led her to make the accusation against Wilson that was eventually deleted after a commenter labeled her a “homie hopper.”  

The string of events likely didn’t earn Gile any points with Lisa Wilson.
