BLOTTER: LT must pay more support

Former Giant Lawrence Taylor settled a child support case involving a New Jersey woman. An attorney for the 12-year-old girl’s mother says Taylor agreed yesterday at a court hearing in Hackensack to pay $650 per week. The mother, Ebony Washington of Secaucus, had been receiving about $450 per week and had sought more money. Taylor had sought to have the amount decreased.

* Former NBA player Oliver Miller was arrested and accused of pistol-whipping a man at a cookout near his Maryland home. . . . Former Mets and Phillies outfielder Lenny Dykstra posted $150,000 bond in a federal case where he’s accused of embezzling money from a bankruptcy estate.

HOOPS: Princeton names coach

Former Princeton player Mitch Henderson has been hired as the Tigers’ new coach. Henderson helped Princeton reach the NCAA Tournament three times in the late 1990s. He replaces former teammate Sydney Johnson, who left the school for a job at Fairfield after leading the Tigers to a share of the Ivy League title and a berth in the tournament.

* Memphis forward Zach Randolph signed a four-year extension after leading the Grizzlies to their first playoff win in franchise history. . . . Timberwolves forward Kevin Love will be named today as the winner of the NBA’s Most Improved Player award.

ETC.: Real Madrid wins Copa, then breaks it

Real Madrid beat rival Barcelona 1-0 yesterday to win the Copa del Rey, then broke the cup. Madrid defender Sergio Ramos dropped the trophy from the top of the team bus during celebrations early today in Madrid and the bus then ran it over. Emergency services gathered up the broken pieces and returned them to the bus.

* Wladimir Klitschko and David Haye agreed to the final detail of their long-awaited heavyweight title bout, selecting a soccer stadium in Hamburg, Germany, for the July 2 fight.
