St. John’s disappointing regular season ended with a loss, and it will now need a championship run in the Big East Tournament to make the Big Dance.
The Red Storm finished the regular season a disappointing 16-14 (8-11 Big East) after falling to Marquette 85-77 on Saturday night in Milwaukee.
Dylan Addae-Wusu was an unexpected force off the bench for the Johnnies, scoring 19 points, and Julian Champagnie chipped in with 15, but it wasn’t enough for Mike Anderson’s crew. Justin Lewis scored 29 points for the Golden Eagles (19-11, 11-8).
