Seattle striker Fredy Montero is under investigation after claims that he was stalking a woman, a 23-year-old who’d already reported that the Colombian had sexually assaulted her. Montero didn’t travel with the club to their game in Toronto, but the team insisted it was because he was ill.

Seattlepi.com said according to a report filed with the King’s County Sheriff’s office, the woman was afraid for her safety when she saw the 21-year-old Montero watching her from a car outside her home. There had already been a claim that he’d sexually assaulted the woman, an incident reported on March 22.

“We have a case number, and it’s an open investigation. It has not gotten far enough to where charges were filed yet,” said spokesman Greg Grannis of the Bellevue Police Department, where the assault charge was filed. What do you make of this?
