* This might have been quite a reunion for Jason Sehorn, who signed with the Rams after he was cut by the Giants. Sehorn was slated to start at free safety but a broken left foot will sideline him for at least the first month of the season.

“Knowing how things went for him, I know he wanted to play in this game and come back and show the people here he can still play,” WR Amani Toomer said. “I know personally for him it’s a tough situation.”
