SYRACUSE — Running back Antwon Bailey, cornerback Kevyn Scott and fullback Adam Harris will serve as team captains for the Syracuse Orange this season.

The three seniors were elected in a vote by their teammates. Bailey will represent the offense, Scott the defense, and Harris the squad’s special teams.

Head coach Doug Marrone says “they all stand out in the classroom, in the community and on the football field.”

A dual threat out of the backfield, Bailey enters his final year as Syracuse’s all-time leader in receptions by a running back. He has 62 catches for 506 yards and three touchdowns.

The Orange open the season at home against Wake Forest a week from Thursday.
