The most celebrated pro day in NFL history appeared to do wonders for Tim Tebow.

The much-debated Florida quarterback unveiled a new throwing motion yesterday in front of a crowd of A-list pro scouts — including Giants coach Tom Coughlin — and more than 3,000 cheering fans in Gainesville, Fla.

Tebow did well enough throwing yesterday that the NFL invited him to attend the April 22-24 draft at Radio City Music Hall, though Tebow isn’t considered a lock to go even as high as the second round.

Scouts said Tebow’s footwork was noticeably better yesterday, and he showed good zip and accuracy. His spirals were tighter, and Tebow appeared to benefit from a much higher release point.

Detractors, though, noticed a pause in the middle of the new motion and wonder if Tebow won’t instinctively revert to the old throwing style when under duress.
