After the Father’s Day match, the tennis star made it clear he had no idea his wife, Kim, and their four children were in attendance, telling the interviewer, “Hopefully, I’ll get back home tonight, see my kids for Father’s Day,” before spotting them in the crowd.

“Hopefully, I’ll get in before their bedtime, get a rest day in tomorrow, get pumped for Queens,” he continued.

No sooner did he hear cheering and cries of “we’re here” from the stands, look up and see his his four children waving at him from the crowd.

“Oh my God,” Murray said. “I had no idea they were here. I had no idea they were coming.”

According to Murray, the full family made the trek to Surbiton last week for the final but headed home for bedtime before the conclusion of the match.

But Sunday, they got to see their dad take home the Nottingham Open title.

Murray, quickly counting his kin from the court, confirmed “They’re all here.”

“It’s great they managed to come today,” Murray said.

The three-time Grand Slam champion is expected to rise to No. 38 in the ATP after the win at Nottingham. He currently sits at 44th in the world.
