Genie Bouchard took in the scenes at Coachella, with her twin sister Beatrice.
The duo planned out their outfits, with Beatrice captioning on Instagram that they were “channeling the powerpuff girls.”
Genie, 28, was ranked as high as No. 5 in the world in 2014. That year, she reached the finals of Wimbledon and the semifinals of the French Open and Australian Open.
Last month she celebrated her return to the court after missing a year due to shoulder surgery. Paired with Tommy Haas, she played in a mixed doubles event for Champions Series Tennis.
“I had the best time playing in front of a crowd. My cheeks hurt from smiling the whole time!” Bouchard wrote on Instagram. “This mixed format @championsseriestennis is so fun. One small step…”

Instagram / Genie Bouchard“I played better than I expected,” Bouchard said after the tournament. “We had really tough conditions. We’re both very cold out here and it’s hard to serve sometimes with the wind. But I just tried to hit the shots I’ve been doing in practice since I’ve been training for my comeback.”
It was a busy month for the tennis star. Genie broke up with Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph, and was later spotted out in Miami with former Mets pitcher Matt Harvey.
