Game, set, match.
While practicing at the US Open with Germany’s Tommy Haas earlier this week, tennis ace-turned-matchmaker Novak Djokovic was joined by longtime pal Kirk Spahn and his lady love, Jenny Alden. As the pros traded shots on center court, Spahn watched on the sidelines and Alden played umpire.
Before calling it a day, however, Spahn had one more item of business to attend to: proposing to his bombshell bride-to-be.
“Look what happened a few days ago on my practice session,” Djokovic shared on Facebook. “I am very excited for you guys and glad I had a role in this wonderful surprise! Congratulations Kirk and Jenny.”
After gushing over her pink diamond sparkler, the future Mrs. Spahn tweeted a sweet message to the world’s No. 1 player.
“Thank you @DjokerNole for making my proposal such a special one!”
