Novak Djokovic took a page from the John McEnroe and Happy Gilmore playbook at the Wimbledon men’s final on Sunday.

After going down in the fifth set to Carlos Alcaraz two games to one, Djokovic furiously threw his racquet at the side of the net, which resulted in his second violation of the day.

The crowd was a pro-Alcaraz bunch throughout the match, and with his racket smash, the Serbian star’s frustrations finally boiled over.

Earlier in the match, Djokovic was seen embracing the attacking role, scoring points and blowing kisses to the crowd.

But that didn’t last long.

Alcaraz was on a mission with his impressive serves, racking up ace after ace in the Wimbledon Final.

Djokovic then went down to the Spaniard in a shocking victory in the fifth set, and following the match, he presented the racket to a fan in the Centre Court stands.
