With the US Open finals trophy and world No. 1 ranking on the line, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz were all smiles ahead of their match. Sinner and Alcaraz posed mid-court on Sunday, just moments before their final's game at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens. In typical fashion, both men have dominated the tournament in a collision course to their Sunday showdown. Alcaraz has not lost a set during the 2025 US Open, while Sinner has dropped just two.Celebrities in attendance for US Open men's final

The US Open men's final match was pushed back by half an hour due to increased security at Arthur Ashe Stadium in the wake of Donald Trump's arrival.
The final matchup featuring Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz was moved to 2:30 P.M. EST time, the US Open's official X account announced.

Trump arrived just before the original 2 P.M. time set for the match.
The president was greeted with cheers as he appeared in his luxury suite.
The US Open was forced to cut the price of its signature "Honey Deuce" cocktail after vendors ran out of the drink's iconic collectable cup.

Instead of $23, the drink now costs $21 and comes in a disposable plastic cup.
And some bartenders say sales of the vodka and lemonade drink have been declining since the cups ran out.
“Some people come here just for the glass,” said one bartender, whose line was nearly non-existent.
President Donald Trump has arrived at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens for Sunday's men's final.
Trump was expected to attend the event as Page Six exclusively reported earlier in the week his plans to return – a decade after he last attended the tennis tournament.

Sunday's men's final is set to feature Jannik Sinner facing Carlos Alcaraz.
The guard had changed well before Carlos Alcaraz took Novak Djokovic to the woodshed at Arthur Ashe Stadium on Friday with a 6-4, 7-6 (4), 6-2 straight sets semifinal victory in which romance and drama both played second racquet to reality.
At age 38, Djokovic is the third-best player in the world after advancing to the semifinals in all four Grand Slams this year. There probably isn’t a fourth that would be in his league. His results this year have bolstered a résumé that glitters in gold.

The problem: Djokovic did not win even a single set in any — and all — of these final fours. He retired with a leg issue after dropping a first-set tiebreak to Alexander Zverev at Australia before he was wiped out by Jannik Sinner at both Roland Garros and Wimbledon and then by Alcaraz here at Flushing Meadows.
Carlos Alcaraz finally has his hard-court win over Novak Djokovic, and a U.S. Open final berth to go with it.
Coming out on top of a tight match Friday evening, Alcaraz has still yet to drop a set after posting a 6-4, 7-6, 6-2 victory in front of a star-studded raucous crowd at Arthur Ashe Stadium to earn the right to compete for his second title in Flushing.

The Spaniard, who was previously 0-3 against Djokovic on hard surface, has now won 44 of his last 46 matches in a display of utter dominance.
The No. 1-ranked men's singles player didn't even need to break a sweat.
Jannik Sinner made quick work of fellow Italian Lorenzo Musetti 6-1, 6-4, 6-2 to roll into the semifinals on Wednesday night.

Actor John Turturro was taking in the U.S. Open quarterfinal on Wednesday night and wanted to be more part of the action, seemingly. This time, he went behind the camera in a funny moment.
Naomi Osaka is moving on to the semifinals.

Osaka knocked off Karolína Muchová in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6 (3), to make the final four of a Grand Slam for the first time in four years. She'll next face American Amanda Anisimova on Thursday night.
After falling short of what would’ve been her fourth straight Grand Slam semifinal this season on Wednesday, Iga Swiatek fielded more questions about her opponent, Amanda Anisimova, than herself.
Swiatek destroyed Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 to capture her first Wimbledon title earlier this summer, so, naturally, many wanted to hear how she saw the American piece together a convincing 6-4, 6-3 victory inside Arthur Ashe Stadium at the U.S. Open less than two months later.

When asked how tired she is at the moment, Swiatek looked particularly irritated.
