James Grundvig has a son named Fridrik and the middle name Ottar. You think he has any Norwegian blood in him?

Oddly enough, he hates the Vikings.

“People call me ‘The Viking’ and ‘Thor,’ ” Grundvig, 43, said. “First of all, they don’t dress in purple. They don’t go indoors [like in the Metrodome] and they don’t get smoked in four Super Bowls.”

Instead, Grundvig has loved the Packers since seeing them on TV in 1964.

His picks are: Jets, Giants, Bengals, Jaguars, Lions, Saints, Bucs, Chiefs, Packers, Seahawks, Chargers, Browns, Bills and Raiders.

Last week’s fan, Andrew Proch, went 9-6-1 for a winning percentage of .594.

The fan with the highest winning percentage at the end of the season will win $1,000. In the case of a tie, the prize will be split evenly.

Proch and Michael Fabrizio are tied for the lead with a .594 winning percentage.
