Rob Kuhn just missed the cutoff to be part of one of the most famous concert groupies ever.

“I’d say I’ve seen upward of 30 Grateful Dead shows,” Kuhn, 53, said. “I think that would leave me short of a Dead Head.”

On a trip to their Providence show, Kuhn met up with a bunch of friends who brought a U-Haul to the concert.

“Who knew what they had in that thing to keep them awake and alert,” said Kuhn, an avid Giants fan from Pelham.

Last week’s fan, Chris O’Callahan, went 7-7 for a winning percentage of .500. Jack Codey Durkin and Larry Banker hold the overall lead with a .750 winning percentage.

The fan with the highest winning percentage at the end of the season will win $1,000. In the case of a tie, the prize will be split evenly.
