Tiki Barber called ESPN’s Tom Jackson and Michael Irvin “idiots” for stating that news of his impending retirement would be a distraction to the Giants. “I will call them idiots because they have neither spoken to me [nor] any one of my teammates [nor] any of my coaches,” Barber said on Sirius Satellite Radio.

Irvin also said Barber was quitting on the Giants. Barber called Irvin, “The ultimate character guy, factiously speaking, of course.”
