Today in Vancouver
Don’t-miss event
The men’s curling final between Canada and Norway. Sure, it’s only being shown on CNBC (and only peripherally in prime time), and sure, it’s up against NBC’s prime-time showing of the non-medal figure skating gala (in addition to three medal events), but as the Vancouver Games draw to a close, this will be most viewers’ last chance to figure out the rules of curling — at least until the Sochi (Russia) Games in 2014. The host Canadians, who are a perfect 10-0 in matches in these Games, are huge favorites to defeat Norway for a second time (the Canadians won, 7-6 in extra ends, on Feb. 16).
