Nobody is prouder of Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence than his wife, Marissa.

Less than a week after being named Week 1 starting quarterback, Lawrence looked primed for the role.

The No. 1 pick completed 11 of 12 passes for 139 yards in a 34-14 Jacksonville preseason win over the Cowboys. In addition, Lawrence, 21, had two touchdowns in three drives.

Lawrence’s performance left Marissa — and many Jacksonville fans — feeling good about the upcoming season.

“Post game joy,” she captioned an Instagram story of her and a friend embracing one another.

Marissa later reposted a picture of the rookie after, following her husband’s stellar performance.

“We didn’t get a pic but this is him waving to me so that’s cute too ((; Love you so much,” she wrote.

The couple got married in April in a lavish South Carolina wedding. They have been together since 2016, when they were both students at Cartersville High School in Georgia. When Trevor Lawrence went to play football at Clemson, Marissa played soccer at nearby Anderson University.
