Of all the things that are wrong with hockey, it probably hasn’t helped any that the last three times the Stanley Cup was contested it was captured by teams calling Anaheim, Calif.; Raleigh, N.C.; and St. Petersburg, Fla.; home. The NHL could use a parade, and soon, in Toronto, Buffalo, Montreal or Minnesota.

I think I’m on record regarding how much I like the Yankees-Red Sox rivalry. Heck, I wrote a book about it once. No one gets caught up in the history and the drama more than me. But is it possible that once, just once, they can play a game that’s shorter than the William Henry Harrison Administration?
