Flag that man for aggressive celebration.

Bulls forward Carlos Boozer was so stoked after scoring a basket during the second quarter of a game against the Mavericks on Saturday that he punched referee Danny Crawford squarely in the groin. OK, it was an accidental strike, but that didn’t quite take away from the enthusiasm with which Boozer connected with the zebras jewels.

Ouch.

Crawford was cool about it, though, laughing while he walked over to the scorer’s table to assess a foul on the Mavericks’ Dirk Nowitzki. Boozer was also very apologetic. The best part might have been the reaction of those in the crowd classic.

In the end, Boozer’s Bulls ended up falling to the Mavs, 100-98. Must have been karma.
