Troubled ex-Mets ace Dwight Gooden was captured on surveillance video slowly getting out of his car surrounded by authorities during a DUI bust on a Newark, NJ, street Monday night.

The fallen former pitching great holds what looks like a water bottle and an extra T-shirt as he shuffles along to a waiting ambulance after being accused of driving the wrong way on a one-way street in the city’s Ironbound district.

The 54-year-old Gooden, dressed in a dark shirt and tan shorts, enters the ambulance on his own before being taken to nearby University Hospital.

He told The Post he was released from the hospital Tuesday morning, and said he feels “very shameful” and plans to immediately enter rehab.

Gooden, known as Doc, was busted last month for alleged cocaine possession and DUI in Holmdel, NJ.
