Who says LA fans aren’t passionate?

New Lakers point guard Steve Nash got a refreshing taste of what playing in Los Angeles might be like this weekend. While driving on the freeway, the former Phoenix Suns star, and two-time NBA MVP, was handed a Keystone Light beer by enthusiastic fans from an adjacent speeding car.

Nash, who flirted with coming to the Knicks and the Raptors this offseason, was dealt to the Lakers in a sign-and-trade. The star guard reportedly chose LA because of the proximity to his children in Phoenix.

Evidently the welcome he’s getting is warm. Hopefully, for his sake, the beer was not.
