Newtown High School enjoyed a positive moment Tuesday night when its basketball team won a senior night with a three-point buzzer beater.

Mike Daubert hit the shot that propelled Newtown’s 57-55 win over New Milford. The shot was shown on “SportsCenter” this morning.

The Connecticut town is still dealing with the tragedy that gripped a nation in December when 26 students were murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary.
