Rangers announce Dave Barnett had a bizarre moment during the eighth inning of Texas’ win over the Padres on Monday night.

Barnett was setting up the situation when he said:

“A 2-1 game, the tying run is on second after a leadoff single by Chase Headley, the go-ahead run is at fifth in what Adams is insisting, calling it a botched robbery. What actually happened was, his henchman”

That was before Barnett started completely rambling. The rest of the game was called without incident, and some blogs have likened it to a Los Angeles television reporter, who went off the rails during a report from the Grammys last year. Her incident was later blamed on severe migraines.

UPDATE: ESPN.com is reporting that Barnett will miss the next two games against the Padres, and will undergo evaluations.
