Everyone in the arena knows an armbar is coming. No one seems to be able to stop it.

Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey continued her meteoric rise to superstardom Saturday night with a 54-second submission victory over Sarah Kaufman in the main event of Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman in San Diego.

In the fight that aired live on Showtime, Rousey quickly got into a clinch with Kaufman, tripped her using that Olympic medal-winning judo background and fought for an armbar until Kaufman tapped out.

Rousey, who has reached mainstream fame recently with her looks and charisma, moves to 6-0 as a pro with six submission victories, all coming in the first round.
