Andy Murray and Tomas Berdych could laugh about it. But the weather in New York City on Saturday has been downright scary.

In the second set of their US Open semifinal match, wind blew Berdych’s chair on the sidelines over and onto the court, scattering his equipment everywhere. It clearly didn’t help the man who knocked out Roger Federer – Murray rallied to win in four sets to advance to the final.

That championship match won’t happen until Monday, though, with more terrible weather hitting the area Saturday night. Novak Djokovic and David Ferrer will continue their semifinal match – with Ferrer up 5-2 – on Sunday. The women’s final between Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka will also be Sunday.

All of this will just fuel those who have been clamoring for a roof at Arthur Ashe Stadium for years. And maybe they’re correct.
